Both Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano offer lessons for both adults and juniors with PGA Professional instructors. Whether a beginner or an experienced golfer, our teaching programs will assist with the fundamentals of the golf swing to help one achieve their desired level of performance.
Teaching Philosopy
Keep it simple. A logical sequential presentation of golf swing concept, technique and methodology must be in place to take the student from point A to point B in order for him/her to complete a lesson or series of lessons with a an understanding that allows for the continued skill development of the golf swing or specialized areas on their own. For this to occur, it is important that the student understands what do, how to do it and why. A successful teacher must be a good communicator, a motivator and possess credibility as an expert with demonstrated ability and results.
Junior Golf
Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano recognize the importance of junior golf and have placed an emphasis on the junior golf programs. In addition to the popular summer golf camps, Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano will be enhancing the junior golf programs to be a more comprehensive regime including fundamentals of the golf swing, short game, terminology, golf course etiquette and classes with on-course instruction. In addition, junior golfers (17 and under) receive a discount on green fees; only $8.00 after 12:00pm.
Introduction to Golf
Designed for women, men and families to enjoy getting started in a non-threatening environment in either a private, semi-private or group format. Instruction includes the fundamentals of the full swing and can include lessons on the short game or instruction on the course (course management) if desired. Golf clubs are provided if needed.
Improve Your Skills
Lower your scores and achieve more accuracy and consistency with improving your fundamentals in the areas you desire to improve on; including the full swing, short game, putting and course management.

Head Golf Professionals Daryl Parenteau (Rancho Solano) and Rick Moreno (Paradise Valley) offer private, semi private (2 – 4 golfers) and group lessons for new golfers and experienced golfers.
Head Professional Rates - Daryl Parenteau:
Private (½ hour) - $45.00; series of five lessons $180.00
Couples (1 hour) - $67.50 (regularly $90.00)
Semi-private (1 hour) - $45.00 for the first golfer, $22.50 each additional golfer (up to 4 golfers)
Group (1 hour) - $150.00 (5 or more golfers)
Juniors (½ hour) – $25.00; series of five lessons $100.00
Junior Golf Camp – summer months
Assistant Professionals Rates:
Private (½ hour) - $35.00; series of five lessons $150.00
Couples (1 hour) - $52.50 (regularly $70.00)
Semi-private (1 hour) - $35.00 for the first golfer, $17.50 each additional golfer (up to 4 golfers)
